Chicken Drumsticks with Beer, Paprika and Zucchini

You will need
4 - 6 x Best quality chicken drumsticks
1 x Medium onion
2 x Tablespoons butter
3 x Garlic cloves - minced
2 x Medium zucchini - sliced
Olive oil
330m/l x Beer - 1 x small bottle
45m/l x Soy sauce
4 x Tablespoons honey
3 x Teaspoons from the Drumstick Spice Pouch. The pouch contains: Paprika, Thyme, Oregano, Sumac, mild Chili Flakes.
Salt and Pepper to your taste and diet
Method
Pat dry the drumsticks and with a sharp knife, deeply slice into the meat, almost to the bone. Then in a hot pan, add the butter and a little olive oil and brown the drumsticks on all sides and set aside. Season to your taste. Note: Salt not really necessary due to the soy sauce.
In the same pan add the onions and zucchini and fry down until soft. Then add the soy sauce, honey, the 3 x teaspoons from the spice pouch and the beer and allow to reduce for 10 minutes then return the drumsticks. mixing with the sauce and cook for 25 - 30 minutes, (depending on the size of the drumsticks) over a medium heat rotating the drumsticks and allowing the sauce to reduce a little further.
Serve with your preferred rice and chopped flatleaf parsley
