1/2 x Cup raisins
1 x Egg - whisked
1/2 x Cup breadcrumbs
Olive oil

3 x Teaspoons from you recipe spice pouch containing: Parsley, Oregano, Thyme, Cumin, Coriander, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Minimal chili only.
Method for the Meatballs
Prepare your meatballs to your favourite method. For our testing of this recipe we worked to the traditional method of adding the lamb, finely minced garlic and onion, breadcrumbs, feta, raisins and 4 x teaspoons of the spices in the spice pouch, then mix everything with your hands before rolling into 4cm meatballs.
A suggested option is that after frying the meatballs you leave the nice crunchy bits and flavours from the spice pouch in the pan and add a tin of tomatoes, grated garlic and black pepper, reduce to thicken a little and serve as a sauce with the meatballs.
