Dukkah Crusted Baked Chicken

A wonderfully exciting flavour created over 2000 years ago in Egypt. Perfect when time is short in a mid week.

The spices and nuts in your professionally blended Dukkah Seasoning will be: Almonds, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Cumin, Coriander, Sesame Seeds, Sumac, Sea Salt, Black Pepper.

When you order you will receive the zip lock natural spice pouch together with a printed hard copy of your recipe.

The 60g Herb and Spice pouch will give approx. 5 meal servings, each with 4 people (depending on serving size) giving $1.40 for a meal.

You will need

3 x Chicken thighs or as required

Olive Oil

4 x Teaspoons of the Dukkah natural seasoning

The natural Dukkah Seasoning Pouch contains professsionally blended: Walnuts, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Cumin, Coriander, Sesame Seed, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Sumac. Please advise if you would prefer the natural spices and nuts salt free

Method

Pat dry the chicken thighs and lightly cover with olive oil

Next add the Dukkah to the chicken top side only so it is nicely heaped on each chicken then press down to compress a little and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Then return the chicken to room temperature, lightly sprinkle a little olive oil over the top and place in a hot oven at 200c and cook until chicken is firm and the Dukkah Seasoning is crisp and crunchy - about 20 minutes.
