Dukkah Crusted Baked Chicken

A wonderfully exciting flavour created over 2000 years ago in Egypt. Perfect when time is short in a mid week.
The spices and nuts in your blended Dukkah Seasoning will be: Almonds, Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Cumin, Coriander, Sesame Seeds, Sumac, Sea Salt, Black Pepper.
When you order you will receive the zip lock natural spice pouch together with a printed hard copy of your recipe.
The 65g Herb and Spice pouch will give approx. 5 meal servings, each with 4 people (depending on serving size) giving $1.40 for a meal.

You will need
Chicken thighs or breast as you choose. If you are using chicken breast you might need to flatten a little
Olive Oil
4 x Teaspoons of the Dukkah natural spice seasoning
The natural Dukkah Seasoning Pouch contains professsionally blended: Walnuts, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Cumin, Coriander, Sesame Seed, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Sumac
Method
Pat dry the chicken and lightly cover with olive oil
Next add the Dukkah to a small bowl with a little olive oil then mix to to a smooth paste then place on the chicken, top side only, so it is nicely heaped. Press down to compress a little and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Then return the chicken to room temperature, lightly sprinkle a touch of olive oil over the top and place in a hot oven at 200c and cook until chicken is firm and the Dukkah Seasoning is crisp and crunchy - about 20 minutes depending on the oven.
